Dr. Pearson 's specializes in biodiversity, ornithology, ecology and sustainability at ASU’s School of Sustainability. He has written many books on eco-tourism and A Field Guide to the Tiger Beetles of the United States and Canada. He travels extensively, particularly to South America. He also works on international environmental education exchanges for graduate students and elementary teachers and students that promote critical thinking skills and appreciation of cultural diversity.
